SEC 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가는 기업·공공기관의 환경·사회·지배구조(ESG)에 관한 주요 요소와 함께 조직의 의사결정과 활동이 환경과 사회, 이해관계자와 공동체, 현재세대와 미래세대에 미치는 영향과 그에 따른 책임을 종합적으로 살펴보는 책임경영 평가제도이다.

 

The SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions is a Responsible Management Evaluation Program that considers key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors together with the impacts of organizational decisions and activities on the environment and society, stakeholders and communities, and present and future generations, as well as the responsibilities arising from those impacts.

SEC 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가는 기업·공공기관의 책임경영과 지속가능성 및 미래 경쟁력을 종합적으로 평가하여 조직과 이해관계자가 책임경영 수준과 주요 특성을 이해하는 데 참고할 수 있는 객관적인 평가정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

 

The SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions aims to provide objective evaluation information that may assist organizations and stakeholders in understanding Responsible Management performance and key characteristics by comprehensively evaluating Responsible Management, Sustainability, and Future Competitiveness.

 

평가를 통하여 조직의 책임 있는 의사결정과 경영활동, 지속가능경영의 실천, 사회적 가치와 공공가치의 창출, 미래변화에 대한 대응과 혁신, 장기적인 가치창출 및 지속적인 개선 등에 관한 평가정보를 체계적으로 제공한다.

The public institution sector includes public corporations, quasi-governmental institutions, local public enterprises, and other public institutions, with comprehensive consideration given to public responsibility, impacts on citizens’ lives and public services, the use of public financial resources, and social need.

IV. Evaluation Operations

 

 

SEC 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가는 정해진 평가기간과 절차에 따라 실시하며, 공개자료·공식자료·법정공시자료 및 그 밖의 객관적으로 확인 가능한 자료와 정보를 활용한다.

 

The SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions is conducted in accordance with established evaluation periods and procedures using publicly available materials, official materials, statutory disclosures, and other objectively verifiable information.

 

필요한 경우 평가목적과 관련된 자료와 정보를 추가로 확인할 수 있으며, 평가에 활용되는 자료와 정보는 그 성격과 중요성을 고려하여 출처·관련성·정확성·신뢰성·무결성 및 검증가능성 등을 검토한다.

평가자료의 수집과 검증, 정량·정성평가, 점수산정, WFSRI 산출, 사실확인 및 종합검토 등 평가 실무는 SEC 평가방법론, SEC 평가체계 및 정해진 평가원칙과 절차에 따라 수행한다.

 

Evaluation activities, including the collection and verification of evaluation materials, quantitative and qualitative evaluation, score calculation, derivation of the WFSRI, Factual Review, and comprehensive review, are conducted in accordance with the SEC Evaluation Methodology, the SEC Evaluation Framework, and established evaluation principles and procedures.

 

평가위원회는 평가 실무를 통해 수집·검증되고 도출된 평가자료와 결과를 바탕으로 개별 평가에 관한 전문적인 검토와 심의를 수행하고, 정해진 권한과 절차에 따라 최종 평가결과·평가등급 및 인증 관련 판단을 확정한다.

 

The Evaluation Committee conducts professional review and deliberation on individual evaluations on the basis of evaluation materials and results collected, verified, and derived through the evaluation process and finalizes evaluation results, Ratings, and certification-related determinations in accordance with its established authority and procedures.

 

SEC평가원은 평가결과의 정확성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위하여 필요한 검증과 사실확인 절차를 운영하며, 평가과정과 평가결과가 객관적인 자료와 검증 가능한 정보 및 정해진 평가원칙과 절차에 따라 독립적이고 공정하게 이루어지도록 한다.
