SEC 평가 및 관련 제도의 공식 운영기준

Official Regulations Governing SEC Evaluations and Related Systems

 

SEC(Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission)는 평가 및 관련 제도의 일관성·신뢰성·예측가능성을 확보하기 위하여 평가업무에 필요한 규정과 기준을 제정·운영한다.

SEC (Sustainable Enterprise Evaluation Commission) establishes and administers regulations and standards necessary for evaluation operations to ensure consistency, reliability, and predictability in its evaluations and related systems.

SEC 규정은 평가등급 운영, 평가결과 공표, 사실확인, 이의신청, 인증, 평가윤리 및 이해상충 방지 등 평가와 관련된 주요 제도의 운영기준과 절차를 정하는 공식 규정이다.

SEC Regulations establish official standards and procedures governing major evaluation-related systems, including rating operations, disclosure of evaluation results, factual review, appeals, certification, evaluation ethics, and prevention of conflicts of interest.

SEC는 관련 규정을 통해 평가업무의 역할과 절차를 명확히 하고, 평가대상의 권리를 보호하며, 평가의 독립성·공정성·객관성·전문성·투명성 및 신뢰성을 확보하고자 한다.

Through these regulations, SEC clarifies evaluation roles and procedures, protects the rights of evaluated organizations, and seeks to ensure the independence, fairness, objectivity, professionalism, transparency, and reliability of its evaluations.

 

 

Ⅰ. SEC ESG 평가등급 운영규정

I. SEC ESG Rating Operation Regulations

SEC ESG 평가등급 운영규정은 SEC 평가결과에 따른 평가등급의 결정·운영·관리 및 SEC WFSRI Rating의 적용에 필요한 기준과 절차를 정한다.

The SEC ESG Rating Operation Regulations establish standards and procedures for determining, administering, and managing evaluation ratings and applying the SEC WFSRI Rating system based on SEC evaluation results.

II. SEC Evaluation Result Disclosure Regulations

SEC 평가결과 공표규정은 평가결과의 공표대상, 공개범위, 공표방법 및 관리에 필요한 사항을 정하며, 사실확인과 이의신청 등 관련 절차를 거쳐 확정된 평가결과가 정해진 기준에 따라 공표되도록 한다.

The SEC Evaluation Result Disclosure Regulations establish requirements concerning the subjects, scope, methods, and management of evaluation result disclosure and ensure that results finalized through applicable procedures, including factual review and appeals, are disclosed in accordance with established standards.

SEC 사실확인 운영규정은 평가에 활용된 사실과 자료의 정확성을 확인하고, 평가대상에 사실관계 확인 기회를 제공하며, 평가정보의 정확성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 절차와 운영기준을 정한다.

The SEC Factual Review Regulations establish procedures and operational standards for verifying the accuracy of facts and information used in evaluations, providing evaluated organizations with opportunities to review factual matters, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of evaluation information.

IV. SEC Appeal Review Regulations

SEC 이의신청 심사규정은 평가결과와 관련하여 제기되는 이의신청의 접수·검토·심사·결정 및 처리에 필요한 기준과 절차를 정하고, 평가대상의 정당한 권리와 평가절차의 공정성을 보호한다.

The SEC Appeal Review Regulations establish standards and procedures for the submission, review, examination, determination, and handling of appeals relating to evaluation results, while protecting the legitimate rights of evaluated organizations and the fairness of evaluation procedures.

 

Ⅴ. SEC ESG 인증 운영규정

V. SEC ESG Certification Operation Regulations

SEC ESG 인증 운영규정은 SEC 평가결과와 연계하여 운영하는 ESG 인증제도의 인증기준, 인증절차, 인증의 관리 및 관련 사항에 필요한 운영기준을 정한다.

The SEC ESG Certification Operation Regulations establish operational standards for certification criteria, procedures, certification management, and related matters concerning the SEC ESG Certification system operated in connection with SEC evaluation results.

VI. SEC Evaluation Ethics Regulations

SEC 평가윤리규정은 평가업무 수행 과정에서 준수하여야 할 윤리기준과 행동원칙을 정하고, 평가의 독립성·공정성·객관성·전문성 및 신뢰성을 유지하기 위한 사항을 규정한다.

The SEC Evaluation Ethics Regulations establish ethical standards and principles of conduct to be observed in evaluation activities and requirements for maintaining the independence, fairness, objectivity, professionalism, and reliability of evaluations.

 

Ⅶ. SEC 이해상충 방지규정

VII. SEC Conflict of Interest Regulations

SEC 이해상충 방지규정은 평가와 관련하여 발생할 수 있는 이해상충을 식별·예방·관리하고, 평가업무 수행 과정에서 부당한 영향이나 이해관계의 개입을 방지하여 전문적 판단의 독립성과 평가의 공정성을 유지하기 위한 사항을 정한다.

The SEC Conflict of Interest Regulations establish requirements for identifying, preventing, and managing potential conflicts of interest in evaluation activities, preventing undue influence or interference arising from conflicting interests, and maintaining the independence of professional judgments and the fairness of evaluations.

 

Ⅷ. SEC 규정의 운영

VIII. Administration of SEC Regulations

SEC는 각 규정의 목적, 적용범위 및 시행일에 따라 평가와 관련 업무에 해당 규정을 적용한다.

SEC applies each regulation to evaluation and related activities in accordance with its purpose, scope of application, and effective date.

각 규정은 상호 연계하여 운영하되, 개별 규정에서 정한 기준과 절차에 따라 적용하며, 규정 간 운영의 일관성과 제도적 정합성을 유지한다.

The regulations operate in coordination with one another while each is applied according to its own standards and procedures, maintaining operational consistency and institutional coherence.

규정의 제정·개정 및 폐지는 정해진 절차에 따라 관리하며, 현재 시행 중인 규정과 종전 규정을 구분하여 관리한다.

The enactment, amendment, and repeal of regulations are managed through established procedures, with regulations currently in force distinguished from previous versions.

각 규정의 제정일·개정일·시행일 및 주요 변경사항은 「제·개정 이력」을 통해 공개한다.

The enactment date, amendment date, effective date, and major changes of each regulation are disclosed through “Enactment and Revision History.”
