WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)는 SEC 평가방법론과 평가체계를 통해 기업·공공기관 및 기타 조직의 책임경영 평가결과를 종합하여 산출하는 SEC의 독자적인 종합평가지수(Comprehensive Evaluation Index)다. The WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) is SEC's independent Comprehensive Evaluation Index, derived by integrating Responsible Management evaluation results for corporations, public institutions, and other organizations through the SEC Evaluation Methodology and Evaluation Framework. SEC 평가체계는 9대 평가부문, 27개 하위평가항목, 159개 세부평가지표로 구성되며, 이 가운데 50개 지표를 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVIs)로 선정하여 운영한다. The SEC Evaluation Framework comprises 9 Evaluation Domains, 27 Evaluation Pillars, and 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators, of which 50 are designated as Core Value Indicators (CVIs). SEC평가원은 평가결과에 따라 AAA(Platinum), AA(Gold), A(Silver), BB(Certified), B(Not Certified)의 5단계 SEC WFSRI Rating을 부여한다. SEC assigns five SEC WFSRI Rating levels based on evaluation results: AAA (Platinum), AA (Gold), A (Silver), BB (Certified), and B (Not Certified). Since 2025, SEC has pursued the standardization of its institutional name and official designations to strengthen its identity and public recognition as a professional evaluation institution. On September 26, 2026, “SEC평가원” was finalized as its official public-facing name. 이에 따라 기존에 사용하던 「SEC에스이씨평가원」 등의 혼용 표기를 「SEC평가원」으로 통일하고, 한글 법인명 「주식회사 에스이씨평가원」 및 영문 법인명 「SEC Co., Ltd.」와 구분하여 공식 명칭 및 표기체계를 정립하였다. WFSRI 백서 개정 및 정부 공공기관 ESG 가이드라인 추가 반영

Revision of the WFSRI White Paper and Further Incorporation of the Government's Public Institution ESG Guidelines

SEC평가원은 2026년 7월 31일 이전에 확립한 독자적인 SEC 평가방법론과 평가체계의 구성 및 적용원칙을 바탕으로 「WF책임경영지수(WFSRI) 백서」를 개정하였다.

SEC revised the White Paper on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) based on the structure and application principles of its independent SEC Evaluation Methodology and Evaluation Framework established prior to July 31, 2026.

SEC 평가체계는 9대 평가부문, 27개 하위평가항목, 159개 세부평가지표로 구성되며, 이 가운데 책임경영의 핵심가치와 주요 평가요소를 반영하는 50개 지표를 핵심가치지표(Core Value Indicators, CVIs)로 선정하여 운영한다.

The SEC Evaluation Framework comprises 9 Evaluation Domains, 27 Evaluation Pillars, and 159 Detailed Evaluation Indicators. Among these, 50 indicators are designated as Core Value Indicators (CVIs) to reflect the core values and principal evaluation elements of Responsible Management.

또한 기획재정부가 2025년 12월 발표한 「공공기관 ESG 가이드라인」의 주요 평가요소를 기존 SEC 평가체계에 추가로 반영하여 정부 정책과의 정합성을 강화하였다.

SEC also further incorporated relevant elements of the Public Institution ESG Guidelines announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in December 2025 into its existing Evaluation Framework, strengthening alignment with government policy.

이러한 평가체계는 WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)를 산출하기 위한 기반으로서, 기업·공공기관 및 기타 조직의 책임경영 성과와 영향 및 책임이행 수준을 종합적으로 평가하는 데 활용된다.

This Evaluation Framework serves as the foundation for deriving the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI) and is applied to comprehensively evaluate Responsible Management performance, impacts, and the fulfillment of responsibilities among corporations, public institutions, and other organizations.

Official Announcement and Launch of the 1st SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions

SEC평가원은 WFSRI 연구성과를 토대로 수립한 SEC 평가방법론, SEC 평가체계, SEC 평가지표 체계 및 관련 평가기준을 기반으로 기업·공공기관의 책임경영과 지속가능성 및 미래 경쟁력을 평가하기 위한 운영체계를 마련하고, 「제1회 SEC 기업·공공기관 ESG·WFSRI 평가」를 공식 공고·시행하였다.

SEC officially announced and launched the 1st SEC ESG·WFSRI Evaluation for Corporations and Public Institutions, based on the SEC Evaluation Methodology, SEC Evaluation Framework, SEC Indicator System, and applicable Evaluation Criteria developed from the WFSRI research outcomes, to evaluate Responsible Management, Sustainability, and Future Competitiveness.

SEC 평가 관련 규정 제정 및 WFSRI 백서 초판 발행·정부 공공기관 ESG 가이드라인 일부 반영

Establishment of SEC Evaluation-Related Regulations, First Publication of the WFSRI White Paper, and Partial Incorporation of the Government's Public Institution ESG Guidelines

SEC평가원은 책임경영 평가의 체계적인 운영을 위한 관련 평가 규정을 제정하고, WF책임경영지수(WFSRI)의 개념과 평가철학, SEC 평가방법론 및 평가체계 등을 설명하는 「WF책임경영지수(WFSRI) 백서」 초판을 발행하였다.

SEC established relevant evaluation regulations for the systematic operation of Responsible Management evaluation and published the first edition of the White Paper on the WF Sustainable Responsibility Index (WFSRI), presenting the concept and Evaluation Philosophy of the WFSRI, together with the SEC Evaluation Methodology and Evaluation Framework.

또한 기획재정부가 2025년 12월 발표한 「공공기관 ESG 가이드라인」의 주요 평가요소 중 일부를 SEC 평가체계에 반영하여 공공기관 책임경영 평가에 대한 정책적 정합성을 고려하였다.

SEC also incorporated selected evaluation elements from the Public Institution ESG Guidelines announced by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in December 2025 into the SEC Evaluation Framework, taking into consideration policy alignment in the evaluation of Responsible Management by public institutions.
